How does Cork Model Aero Club collect member’s data?
Cork Model Aero Club collects members address, email address, telephone number and age. This information is required in order to enable Cork Model Aero Club to establish and maintain a database of members in order to provide membership services. Consent is given by completing a membership form.
How is information used?
Members information is used to process your membership, send information regarding meetings, events, training opportunities, and perform any other obligation the club has undertaken to its members. The club will retain member’s information for as long as is necessary to provide membership related services, and for a period of 3 years after membership lapses.

Can members access their information held by the club?
Cork Model Aero Club members can access their personal information which is held by the club, or modify the consent they have given in their membership form by contacting the club data protection officer.
What are Members Rights with respect to personal information held by the club?
Members have the right to access their information held by Cork Model Aero Club. The club will provide a copy of any personal data held, providing the rights and freedom of others is not affected.
Members have the right to rectify or change any of their personal information held by the club.
Members have the right for the deletion of any personal information held by the club in a timely manner, however current membership of Cork Model Aero Club will be forfeited should all of a member’s information be deleted.
Members have the right to restrict the use of their personal information, where that information is inaccurate, where the use of that information is unlawful, where members require their information be retained for legal issues. Where use of member’s information has been restricted on this basis, the club may continue to store such information, but will only use it with the members consent for particular purposes.
Members may object to the use of their personal information for electronic communication purposes. If such an objection is made, Cork Model Aero Club will cease such communication.
Members who believe that Cork Model Aero Club processing of personal information fails to comply with data protection laws, have the right to complain to the office of the data protection commissioner.
